I respect your opinion. It’s the only sane position to take once one realises that the current politics is irrelevant to the majority of us. I am also with you when you say we should spend time improving on our own conditions rather than expecting the government to improve them for us.
However, I feel that we have to take it to the next level so that we can start creating politics that is relevant to us. A time will reach when we still have to collaborate so we can create solutions for the masses and just as freethought is a collaborative effort, more of such are needed even in technical areas like fixing a road, or providing alternative information and technology.
Politics that is relevant to us i admit has nothing to do with the vote as am sure you will agree with Albert Camus who said, “What better way to enslave a man than to give him a vote and tell him he is free”
